As far as I am concerned, this is the best meteorite site on the internet for beginning to intermediate collectors or for teachers and students. It belongs to my friend Eric Twelker and his family. I did not know he was in the meteorite business until I began combing the net for info I needed and stumbled across The Meteorite Market. One of the premier sites in the world for ice age fossils. Located in the middle of Los Angeles and open to the public, these natural "tar" pits entrapped thousands of ice age creatures. Be sure and check out the geologic timetable of the LaBrea Pits.

This site is from UC-Berkeley and contains a lot of detail about the La Brea Pits and specific fossil remains.
- Journal of Dinosaur Paleontology
If you are interested in dinosaurs, this is the place to start. The most extensive list of links I know of for dinosaur information. Covers everything from the Archaeopteryx to the Tyrannosaurus. And if that's not enough, there's also the Dinosaur Omnipedia for those of us who need a translation of all those technical terms related to dinosaurs.
